WARNING: This blog entry will contain spoliers of the new Ace Attorney game that was just released in Japan Read At Your Own Risk.
Capcom, Capcom Crapcom, Why am I honestly not surprised at what you've done with Dual Destinies. You've misnamed your new game, not only that but you've wasted an opprotunity to use some of the beloved characters. Seriously, it seems like the game uses Phoenix as a way to rope in the older fans.
Congratulations, you've once again suceeded in luring your fans into something that could be awesome, and then you laugh in their face and say Nope! You're now playing the sequal to Apollo Justice and Phoenix now takes Mia Fey's role in the game.
Oh, this reminds me of a little game called Megaman Legends 3, If I'm not mistaken you EVEN LET THE FANS HAVE INPUT, which was awesome btw, but you promised that the game was going to be released based on how well the prototype did. Only the prototype never had a chance because YOU NEVER EVEN RELEASED IT!!!!!!!!! And then cancelled the game.
You suck Capcom! I thought Oh no, they can't do anything worse than cancel Ace Attorney 5. Well I stand corrected. This game should be called AJ2 instead of PW AA DD.
What are you going to do, have the Phoenix Wright (Not Apollo Justice) characters be the focus of DLC cases?
Name recognition, that's all Phoenix is right now. A legend that has a huge fanbase. You use him and other beloved characters to lure fans, new and old, to the series.
This is not the game it could have been.
The good characters have all but gone, the ones that are brought back have little to do (if anything) with the storyline.
What were they thinking???
for characters
Debut in original trilogy: use as bait for fans and then discard.
Debut in Apollo Justice: Keep in the game and use for storyline development.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
So far the good points are the graphics and interactivity.
I had a feeling Pearl would be the only Fey to make an in-game appearance, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO PROVE ME (W)RIGHT!
